Founder, serial entrepreneur, Fortune 500 brand advisor, philanthropist, and author Jason Felts is a long way from small town Texas, where as a kid he dreamed of a successful life behind the scenes in Hollywood. Since then, Felts has built, repositioned, and launched several consumer brands and media companies.
A co-founder of production company J2TV, he developed and produced film and television shows, including Filthy Rich, the show that first introduced the Kardashian family to audiences.
In 2009, Jason co-founded and was named CEO of Virgin’s entertainment company, becoming the second youngest CEO in the history of Virgin behind Sir Richard Branson himself. He also served as CEO of Virgin Fest, and was appointed to Virgin’s Global Brand Council, where he was a consultant to Virgin branded companies in the aviation, hotel, space, and telecom sectors.
As a producer, his films have cumulatively grossed over one billion dollars worldwide. Named by Variety in the “Top 10 to Watch,” honored by New York State as one of the “Responsible 100,” and profiled in Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, Billboard, and Rolling Stone, Felts currently sits on boards for several Fortune 500 brands. He speaks on entrepreneurship and inclusivity, and received an honorary doctorate from Ripon College in recognition of a life “Breaking Barriers.”
Felts traded in LA freeways for a Caribbean island he mostly calls home, spending his days consulting, writing, and using his voice for social good.
